Students will visit the World Health Organization headquarters where they will learn about how the organization is structured and its target priorities. To better understand how the WHO interacts with other actors and how global health policy is translated into tangible projects, students will also visit various leading NGOs, private corporations, institutions of higher education, and UN agencies that work alongside the WHO in the quest to bettering the health of the world. These organizations will include the United Nations High Commission to Refugees (UNHCR), Medisins Sans Frontiers (Doctors Without Borders), the University of Geneva, the Graduate Institute, the World Economic Forum, and the Global Fund, among others.
